How are handloom sarees made?
Handloom sarees are woven diligently and by humans. It involves a shuttle-pit loom that is made from ropes, wooden beams, and of course, poles for support. There is a shuttle that is thrown from the tarsbhullar, which is moved from side to side by the weaver. There is also another kind know n as the fly-shuttle loom. It helps the weaver to make different kinds of patterns.
